Antique Leather Handbag
Fabulous old handbag, presented in a deep patina'd chocolate leather that has darkened with age, the silver metal closure showing both art deco and art nouveau influences in the design. The handbag has a chain fastened to a metal clip in a shell design that hangs from a waist or hip belt. Wonderful piece for the collector, or to use today!

6.5" wide x 6" tall without chain strap
Chain and hip clasp add 6"
Opens 4" wide
Opens by pushing small button atop the clasp, and closes same way
small tear in leather at side (see pic). Oxidation on inside metal. Metal was either brass coated or silver to start, and has worn, showing both silver and gold metal. Chain is gold in color, and has some tarnish, as does the hip clasp. Minor scuffs to leather throughout, leather is soft.
