The JBL Go Essential is an ultra-compact portable Bluetooth speaker. Stream music via Bluetooth for up to 5 hours, charges to full battery in 2.5 hours. Rated IPX7 waterproof, but personally I still wouldn’t take it anywhere close to water.

The nylon cable with the carabiner and case were bought separately from the JBL brand. Charges with micro USB. I attached the nylon to the case by hand, along with the carabiner. Also note: the charging port takes alot of effort to force open (in effort to make it waterproof), so I advise that you use a pry tool, or your nails. Included is a JBL branded charger
